This was a small and very quick design project for a proposed restroom pavilion for a public park in Knoxville, TN. The idea was a simple twist, taking an expected form and twisting both the plan and the roof form. The twisted butterfly roof then floated above a base of split-faced block. The result: a simple, yet interesting form.
